About this product
Scabies is caused by a mite that burrows into the top layer of the skin. The intense itching, worst at night, and the rash between the fingers, around the wrists, waist and ankles are the body reacting to the mite — not a sign of poor hygiene. It spreads through prolonged skin contact, which is why it usually affects more than one person in a household.
EvoScab Soap is a cleansing bar, not a leave-on medicine. It combines permethrin, an antiparasitic that kills scabies mites and their eggs, with sulphur, which is used to treat many kinds of skin disorder including acne and seborrheic dermatitis. It is lathered into the skin and rinsed off, two to three times a day.
Because it is washed off rather than left on, it may be used on the face and other affected areas that the 5% leave-on lotion must avoid. It is an adjunct: it supports a course of EvoScab Lotion and keeps the routine going between applications. It is not a substitute for the leave-on treatment, and using the soap alone should not be expected to clear an infestation.
Alongside treatment, standard practice is to treat everyone in the household at the same time, even those without symptoms, and to wash clothing, towels and bedding used in the previous few days in hot water and dry them thoroughly. If the itch is worsening, new burrows appear, or the skin becomes infected, see a doctor.

Directions for use
