Official launch: B-SAN 120 ml and the Mirolac range

Two new products introduced to the Evomed field team and partners in one sitting: B-SAN, a digestive syrup for infants and children, and Mirolac, a staged infant and maternal nutrition range.

The launch brought the sales, nutrition and distribution teams together at the Peshawar office to introduce two additions to the range and to brief everyone who would be presenting them to doctors, pharmacies and parents.

Mirolac is a scientifically balanced range of infant and maternal nutrition formulas designed to support every stage of early life. Stages 1, 2 and 3 follow a growing infant and toddler; three specialised formulas answer specific feeding difficulties — Mirolac Digest for colic, protein sensitivity and constipation, Mirolac AR for regurgitation, and Mirolac LF as a low-lactose option. For mothers, Mirolac Mama provides the nutrients needed to support lactation and maternal well-being. B-SAN 120 ml syrup helps restore the normal physiological function of the digestive tract in infants and children, supporting overall health and well-being. The day closed with a product briefing in the boardroom, the first packs in hand, and a cake for B-SAN that the team is still talking about.

Important notice

Breastfeeding is the best food for babies and provides the ideal nutrition for healthy growth and development in the first months of life. Infant formula is a breast-milk substitute. It should be used only on the advice of a doctor, health visitor or other qualified healthcare professional, who can advise on whether it is necessary and which product is appropriate. Correct preparation matters. Always follow the instructions on the tin exactly — use clean, sterilised feeding equipment, water boiled and cooled as directed, and the stated number of level scoops. Improper preparation, incorrect dilution or poor hygiene can make a baby ill. Feeding with infant formula carries an ongoing cost, and once breastfeeding is stopped or reduced it may be difficult to re-establish.
